Day 2

Manali – The Land of God

  • Upon arrival, you will transfer to a pre-booked accommodation in Manali.
  • After having a delectable breakfast, you will ask to get ready for the day sightseeing tour in Manali.
  • Today, you will be visiting some popular tourist attractions of Manali like Naggar Castle – the former official seat of the kings that dates back to 15th century, Roerich Art Gallery and several temples in Naggar village.
  • In the afternoon, you will further take on a short pilgrimage tour to Hadimba Devi Temple and Manu Temple.
  • Thereafter, visit the Tibetan Monastery – one of the oldest attraction in the region along with Vashisht Village. Founded by Guru Vashist who was the guru of Lord Rama and Lakshman, the village is the former residence of Vashisht clan.

Day 3

Manali – Jispa

  • After the breakfast, check out from the hotel and commence a drive to Jispa that cuts through Rohtang Pass.
  • En route, savour the panoramic views of the hills, valleys and abundance of lush greenery. Drive along the Chandra River and adore the beautiful landscapes of Lahaul Valley.

Day 4

Jispa – Sarchu

  • Post breakfast, check out from your hotel/camp and start a road journey towards Manali-Leh Highway.

  • By the evening, you will be in Sarchu – a beautiful countryside property on the border of Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh. For the overnight stay, you will transfer to a camp/hotel.

Day 5

Sarchu – Tso Moriri

  • In the morning, followed by a nutritious breakfast, you will start a road excursion to Tso Moriri that would be around 220 km drive. Tso Moriri is one of the most beautiful lake sites in the Ladakh region and is dotted with surreal landscapes.
  • The overnight stay at Tso Moriri will be provided in a camp.

Day 6

Tso Moriri – Leh

  • Post breakfast, be ready to go on an excursion around lake region where you will visit some popular tourist attractions like Korzok Monastery, which is more than 300 old monastery which belongs to Drukpa lineage and Mountain Lake which is famed as Tso Moriri Lake.
  • Commence a drive to Leh that passes through Sumdo and Chuma. The entire drive would take around 7 hours to complete and will take a halt once at Mahe Bridge.
  • Upon arrival, you will be transferred to a pre-booked hotel in Leh.

Day 7

Leh – A Heaven for Globetrotters

  • Like all days, in the morning, you will be served with a delicious breakfast.
  • After the morning meal, the whole day will be free your leisure. You can either choose to relax in your hotel or can also take a sightseeing tour of the region on your own.

Day 8

Leh – Sham Valley

  • Post breakfast, be ready with your backpacks as for the next 4-5 hours, you will be on a road journey to Sham Valley. It would be a downstream ride along the Indus River that passes through Leh-Kargil Highway.
  • On the route, visit the famous Gurdwara Pathar Sahib – a Sikh pilgrimage site in the Himalayas that is built to commemorate the founder of Sikhism, Guru Nanak.
  • From Gurdwara, you will get a chance to experience the mystery behind the Magnetic Hill – a place where vehicle automatically moves on neutral gear as fast as 20 kmph.
  • Thereafter, resume the drive to Sham Valley. En route, capture the surreal sights of the confluence of Zanskar and Indus Rivers. The convergence of both the rivers, the azure blue water of Zanskar and the muddy green water of Indus, is a sight to be cherished for a long time.
  • In transit, you will also visit the famous Likir Monastery and Rizong Monastery. Founded in the 11th-century, Likir is one of the most active monasteries in the region which belongs to Gelugpa lineage. Whereas, Rizong was established in the year 1831 and is also belongs to Gelugpa sect.
  • Upon arrival at Sham Valley, you will transfer to your hotel for overnights stay.

Day 9

Return to Leh via Lamayuru

  • In the morning, savour the taste of a delicious breakfast meal. Thereafter, head out to Lamayuru Monastery through a road drive. The monastery dates back to the 10th-century which makes it one of the oldest of its kind in Ladakh.
  • En route to Lamayuru, adore the exotic sights of Moon Landscapes. Moonland is a village which is famous for its landscapes that looks exactly like that of on Moon.
  • After exploring Moonland, you will mark your journey to Leh. In transit, visit the famous Alchi Gompa. Alchi is one of the oldest surviving monasteries in Ladakh.
  • From Alchi, resume the drive which will next halt at Basgo. Once a cultural political centre of the region, Basgo is an ancient town which is known for its monasteries and castle.
  • Upon arrival at Leh, have an overnight stay in a prearranged hotel.

Day 10

Leh – Nubra Valley via Khardung La

  • After having the breakfast, be ready to set sail for Nubra Valley through a 4-5 hour road ride via Khardung La – one of the highest motorable roads in the world. From here, one can get a sweeping all the way to Indus valley, Zanskar range and Saser Kangri.
  • On arrival at Nubra Valley, you will first accommodate to your hotel/camp to get freshen up.
  • The evening will be free for your leisure time. You can either choose to rest in your hotel/camp or can also go a village tour in the nearby region.
  • Overnight stay will be provided at the hotel/camp.

Day 11

Nubra Valley – Leh

  • Day 11 of this wonderful Manali and Ladakh tour will start a bit early than usual with an early morning breakfast.
  • Post breakfast, start a 4-5 hour’s drive to Hunder. Hunder is a cold desert land in the Himalayas which is quite famed for Bactrian Double-Humped Camel rides.

Day 12

Leh – Pangong Lake

  • Post breakfast, be ready to mark a road journey to Pangong Lake. This road trip would take around 4-5 hours to complete.

  • En route visit the popular tourist sites in Leh like Shey Palace – the former summer capital of Ladakh, ‘3 Idiots’ movie famed Rancho School and Thiksey Monastery.
  • Drive further to Changla Pass – a land of beautiful landscapes and enduring beauty and is also the third highest motorable road in the world.
  • From Changla Pass, drive further down to Tangtse where we will take a break for tea session.
  • Traversing the small villages Changthang, you will reach Pangong Lake. Pangong is one of the most popular places of tourist interest in Ladakh that has also got features of popular Bollywood movies like ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ and ‘3 Idiots’.
  • Dinner and overnight stay will be provided in a camp in Pangong.

Day 13

Return to Leh

  • In the morning, after having breakfast, you will be free for your own leisure time. You can go out and explore the indelible beauty of the region.
  • Late in the morning, we proceed for Leh. In transit, you will visit the famous Hemis Gompa – a Buddhist monastery that dates back to the 11th-century.
  • Upon arrival at Leh, check-in to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 14

Departure from Leh

  • After a long vacation, your Manali and Ladakh tour ends on this day. In the morning, you will be served with a delectable breakfast for Manali and ladakh.
