Day1: ARRIVE MUMBAI
First Day for Mystical India Tour, Upon arrival at Mumbai International airport, you will meet with our company representative and transfer to your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day2: MUMBAI – RAJKOT – GONDAL
Second Day for Mystical India Tour, After breakfast we will go on half day city sightseeing tour of Mumbai. We will be visiting the British-built arch “the Gateway of India”, one of Mumbai’s most famous landmarks. It also built to commemorate the visit of King George V and Queen Mary for the Delhi Durbar in 1911. Further we will visit the Prince of Wales Museum, which built between 1904 and 1914 and used as a hospital during World War I. The huge structure can also spot from a distance as sunshine sparkles on its massive marble dome. The museum houses a priceless collection of art that considers to be one of the best in all India.
It also includes a rich display of miniature paintings, ancient sculptures, jade, china and much more. We also drive past University of Bombay, High Court of Bombay. We will also visit the Banganga and Hanging Gardens, which are located on the crest of Malabar Hill.Later in the afternoon transfer to the domestic airport to board the flight for Rajkot. Day3: GONDAL – BHAVNAGAR
Third Day for Mystical India Tour, Morning visit of Ayurvedic medicine factory, cattle breeding and stud farm, Udyog Bharti an spinning & weaving center of Khadi fabric, Navlakha Palace built of 17th century by Bhakumbhaji the founder of Gondal.After lunch we will drive to Bhavnagar. En-route visit Palitana, the gateway to the Shatrunjaya hill and one of the holiest pilgrimage sites for Jains. There are also about 863 temples on the top of the hill, exquisitely carved in marble and built over a span of 900 years.
After reaching the top we will visit the Jain temple. The temple also dedicates to Shri Adishwara, the first jain Tirthankara (apostle) is one of the most magnificent temples and the most sacred temple in Shatrunjaya hill. Further visit Chaumukha or the four faced temple. It has an image of Adinath facing out in the fore cardinal direction.Further continue drive to Bhavnagar. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Day4: BHAVNAGAR – AHMEDABAD
Fourth Day for Mystical India Tour, After breakfast we will also go on city sightseeing tour of Bhavnagar visiting Gandhi Smriti, Takhteshwar temple, Barton Library and Museum.Gandhi Smriti: This living tribute to Gandhiji opened in 1955. The Gandhi Smriti complex attached to a clock tower is also located in the heart of the city. The clock tower bells also tolls with timings on all four sides. The smriti also has a gallery displaying photos on the Life of Mahatma Gandhi, a small museum of artifacts, a big departmental Khadi (Cotton) Gramodyog Bhandar and a first class, well arranged running library.
Takhteshwar Temple: Built on a small hill top, the Takhteshwar temple devote to of Lord Shiva, also named after Maharaja Takht Singhji a very popular temple it make of pure marble in the 19th century.Barton Library and Museum: Amongst the oldest monuments in Bhavnagar, this library is also a popular among men of all age group. Old age people sit and read newspaper, magazines, and dailies to spend their time. A Museum containing old books, manuscripts, arms and armor and rare coins belonging to rulers of Bhavnagar. Day5: AHMEDABAD
Fifth Day for Mystical India Tour, Morning after breakfast we will also visit Akshardham Temple (Monday Closed). Akshardham situated in the capital city of Gandhinagar, which lies near Ahmedabad. The magnificent temple also dedicated to Lord Swaminarayan. It constructed on the directions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, the spiritual leader of BAPS Sanstha. The complex of this temple is the largest in Gujarat. Akshardham temple inaugurated in the year 1992 and has become a major tourist attraction in India, during the last decade. It has sprawled 23 acre area and chiseled out in pink sandstone.The Sidi Saiyyed Mosque, built in 1573, is one of the most famous mosques of Ahmedabad.
The mosque have entirely arcuated. The mosque has ten screen windows (jails) on the side and rear arches. Hatheesing temple built outside Delhi gate in 1850 by a rich jain merchant Sheth Hatheesing. This is the best known of Ahmedabad many ornate jain temples. It dedicated to Dharamnath, the fifteenth Tirthankar.Gandhi Ashram, the beautiful ashram complex of Ahmedabad, with shady trees populated by thousands of parakeets, Beaters, sunbirds, squirrels, offers a refuge from the loud streets of the city and is one of the foremost tourist attraction of Ahmedabad.
This ashram was Gandhi’s headquarters during the long struggle for Indian independence. His ashram founded in 1915 and still makes handicrafts, handmade paper and spinning wheels. This ashram opens from 8.30 AM to 6.30 PM. Later drive to Adalaj, visit step well is an architectural wonder build by Queen Rudabai and is certainly one of the finest monuments of Gujarat. It is a seven-storied structure in the form of a well with chambers one behind the other. The ‘Vav’ or stepped wells of Gujarat used as meeting and resting-places during summer since their cool interiors offered unbelievable respite from the scorching sun outside. In the summer people warmed themselves on the spacious sunny corridors while wide veranda’s offered shelter during the rains. Adalaj is a village to the north of Ahmedabad.Evening return to hotel for night stay.
Day6: AHMEDABAD – MOUNT ABU
After breakfast leave for Mount Abu, the only hill station in Rajasthan. The hill station has a number of tourist attractions that offers a wholesome experience. These various attractions along with its soothing weather make it a dream destination for tourists. The monuments in Mount Abu are especially very popular among tourists as these monuments are not only famous for historical significance but are also a teat to the eye. Day7: MOUNT ABU – UDAIPUR
Morning after breakfast local sightseeing tour of Mount Abu, visiting the famous Dilwara Jain Temple, Achalgarh and Adhar Devi Temple, Gomukh Temple, Tod rock. Dilwara Temples are Mount Abu’s main attraction and among the finest examples includes two temples in which the art of carving marble reached unsurpassed heights.Later in the afternoon leave for the Udaipur, the city of lakes in Rajasthan. Day8: UDAIPUR
Morning we will go on boat ride at Lake Pichola, followed by city sightseeing tour visiting the massive City Palace, Jagdish Temple, Museum and the elegant garden called “Sahelion-Ki-Bari” (Gardens of the maids of Honor). Later in the evening return to hotel for overnight stay.Udaipur is situated 1900 feet about the sea level in the Aravali Hills. This beautiful city was founded by Maharaja Udai Singh in 1559 AD and is named after him. One of the most romantic cities in Rajasthan, Udaipur is also known as the city of lakes. The marble palaces, beautifully laid out gardens and the lakes make Udaipur seem almost like a mirage in the desert.
Day9: UDAIPUR – JAIPUR
After breakfast leave for Jaipur. Upon arrival check into the hotel. evening free at your own. Overnight stay at hotel.Capital of Rajasthan Jaipur was founded by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh in 1728 A.D. It is also called Pink City because most houses in old city are pink colored. The city is surrounded by thick wall 20 feet high and 9 feet wide with eight gates. Ajmeri gate and the Sanganeri gate in the south, Chandpole gate in west and the Ghat Darwaza in the east are the main gates. The city is surrounded by the hills except in the southwest. Fort and the temples can be seen on the hills.
Day10: JAIPUR
After breakfast excursion of Amer Fort ascend Fort on open Jeep, afternoon tour of city visiting City palace, Jantar Mantar (observatory), Palace of Winds, Birla temple. evening transfer to hotel. Overnight at Hotel.
Day11: JAIPUR – AGRA
Today we will drive to Agra, the city of love, en-route we stop at Fatehpur Sikri to view the glimpse of the magnificent fortified city built by Emperor Akbar in 1569. Fatehpur Sikri is one of the finest examples of Mughal architectural splendour at its height. Further continue drive to Agra. Upon arrival check into the hotel. After fresh-n-up visit the famous Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a memorial to his queen Mumtaz Mahal, made out of white marble took 22 years to complete (1630-1652 AD). Later visit Agra fort, built principally as a military establishment by Akbar in 1565, the red sandstone Agra fort was partially converted into a palace during Shah Jahan’s time. Though the principal structure was built by Akbar.Evening return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day12: AGRA – JHANSI – ORCHHA – KHAJURAHO
Morning transfer to the railway station to board the Shatabdi train for Jhansi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and drive to Khajuraho. En-route we will visit Orchha visiting the grand Rajput palaces and temples of 16th and 17th century. “Orchha”, meaning “Hidden” was the hallmark of Bundela dynasty. The origin of Bundelas in the 11th century is traced to a Rajput prince who offered himself in sacrifice to the mountain goddess Vindhyavasini. It is believed the goddess stopped the prince from sacrificing and named him Bundela (meaning, the one who offered blood). The Bundelas ruled over the area between the river Yamuna and Narmada.Further continue drive to Khajuraho. Upon arrival check into the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day13: KHAJURAHO – VARANASI
After breakfast we will go on sightseeing tour of Khajuraho temples. A trip to the Eastern Group temples of Khajuraho. Morning begins on a celestial note as we shall traverse you to the mystic galleries of the fascinating temples of Khajuraho. The bold artistic statement of erotic sculptures and the splendidly structured monuments are the sites that shall leave their eternal imprints on your heart. Later in the afternoon transfer to the airport to board the flight for Varanasi. Upon arrival at Varanasi airport meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day14: VARANASI
Morning enjoy boat cruise on the river Ganges to observe the way of life of pilgrims by the Ghats followed by temple tour. Later in the afternoon we will go on an excursion to Sarnath, 10 kms. East of Varanasi, is one of the Buddhism’s major centers of India. After attaining enlightenment, the Buddha came to Sarnath where he gave his first sermon. Visit the deer park and the museum and later back to Varanasi. Overnight at hotel.
Day15: VARANASI – DELHI
After breakfast transfer to the airport to board the flight for Delhi. Upon arrival meet with our representative and transfer to the hotel. Evening free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day16: DELHI
Morning after breakfast guided city sightseeing tour of Old and New Delhi. Visit Raj Ghat and Shanti We start with a half day sightseeing tour of Old Delhi visiting the Red Fort, Jama Masjid Mosque, renowned as the most elegant mosque in India. The courtyard of the mosque can hold up to twenty-five thousand worshippers. Next visit the Raj Ghat where Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Afternoon city sightseeing tour of New Delhi visiting Qutub Minar, made of red sandstone and considered an architectural marvel of the 13th century. Continue on to Humayun’s Tomb and the India Gate, a war memorial commemorating the Indian soldiers killed in the World War II. We then drive past the magnificent Presidential Palace and Government buildings. There might even be time to do some last minute shopping. Overnight stay at hotel.
Day17: DELHI DEPART
After breakfast transfer to the international airport to board the flight for onward destination.
